Diagnóstico de Salud Bucal en Atención de Primer Nivel en Pacientes del CST-III Carmen Serdán

Abstract

This report was carried out at the Carmen Serdán health center, located on Calle de Soledad Solorzano S/N Coyoacán, CDMX. During the period August 2022 – July 2023. Carrying out research on the state of oral health of the patients who attended the Carmen Serdán health center. The present investigation was carried out in order to know the main causes and reasons for consultation of the patients who come to this health center, also knowing and examining the patients to determine the main oral diseases that we find in this population. Likewise, it was determined that the population that attended did not receive the information or the adequate treatments, for which informative talks were given on the prevention and control of oral diseases and how to improve the state of oral health. Due to these factors, we can relate that the present population encounters different oral problems such as dental caries, stomatognathic diseases, among which are mainly gingivitis and periodontitis, loss of dental organs due to the lack of education on oral health and their care, as well as the consequences that this has by not going to their check-ups and treatments constantly.

El presente informe se realizó en el centro de salud Carmen Serdán, ubicado en la calle de Soledad Solorzano S/N Coyoacán, CDMX. Durante el periodo agosto 2022 – julio 2023. Realizando la investigación sobre el estado de salud bucal sobre los pacientes que acudían al centro de salud Carmen Serdán. La presente investigación se realizó con el fin de conocer las principales causas y motivos de consulta de los pacientes que acuden a este centro de salud así mismo conociendo y examinando a los pacientes para determinar las principales enfermedades bucales que encontramos en esta población. Así mismo se determinó que la población que acudía no recibía la información ni los tratamientos adecuados por lo cual se dieron platicas informativas sobre prevención y control de las enfermedades bucales y como mejorar el estado de salud bucal. Debido a estos factores podemos relacionar que la población presente, se encuentra con diferentes problemáticas bucales tales como la caries dental, enfermedades estomatognáticas entre las cuales se encuentran principalmente gingivitis y periodontitis, perdida de órganos dentales debido a la falta de educación sobre la salud bucal y sus cuidados, así como las consecuencias que este tiene al no acudir a sus revisiones y tratamientos constantemente.
