Epidemiología Clínica en el Centro Veterinario Parque San Andrés Durante el Periodo del 22 de Abril del 2024 al 22 de Septiembre del 2024

Abstract

This report seeks to track clinical cases at the Parque San Andrés Veterinary Center with the purpose of identifying that both owners are aware of the control and prevention plan for their pets, as well as analyzing the causes or diseases for which dogs and cats come for consultation in order to receive adequate treatment and thus, together with the help of veterinary epidemiology, be able to promote the physical and mental health of individuals through animal health, which allows us to understand what happens in the populations, the frequency and with the help of the knowledge acquired during the degree. allowed us to identify the trend of systemic, infectious and surgical diseases that affect the patient and thus be able to differentiate and interpret them through methods of clinical analysis, imaging or complementary tests to prescribe prophylactic and therapeutic treatments that help reduce the risk of animal involvement and in turn restore their immunization, protect their health and animal well-being and thus directly improve the quality of life of people due to the close coexistence with their pets that is currently being experienced in society by being considered part of the family.

Este informe busca realizar un seguimiento de casos clínicos en el Centro Veterinario Parque San Andrés con el propósito de identificar que tanto los propietarios son conscientes del plan de control y prevención de sus mascotas, así como analizar las causas o enfermedades por las que acuden a consulta los perros y gatos para poder recibir un tratamiento adecuado y así junto con ayuda de la epidemiología veterinaria poder fomentar la salud física y mental de los individuos a través de la salud animal lo que permite entender que sucede en las poblaciones, la frecuencia y con ayuda de los conocimientos adquiridos durante la carrera nos permitió identificar la tendencia de las enfermedades sistémicas, infecciosas y quirúrgicas que afectan al paciente y así poder diferenciarlas e interpretarlas a través de métodos de análisis clínicos, de imagenología o pruebas complementarias para prescribir tratamientos profilácticos y terapéuticos que ayuden a disminuir el riesgo de afectación animal y a su vez a restablecer su inmunización, proteger su salud y bienestar animal y así directamente mejorar la calidad de vida de las personas por la estrecha convivencia con sus mascotas que se esta viviendo actualmente en la sociedad al ser considerados parte de la familia.
