Manejo Agronómico del Jitomate

Abstract

El presente reporte de servicio social tuvo como principal objetivo; conocer y participar en las actividades del manejo agronómico que se realizan en el cultivo de jitomate bajo condiciones de invernadero en el Centro de Investigaciones Biológicas y Acuícolas de Cuemanco. El cultivo de jitomate bajo condiciones de invernadero ha dado la opción de ofrecer productos de buena calidad y plantas con un mayor rendimiento en cualquier época del año, sin embargo, dado que requiere de una fuerte inversión se deben considerar factores como la estructura, ventilación, abastecimiento de agua, ubicación y reglamentos a seguir para tener éxito en su implementación puesto que de hacer caso omiso puede haber incidencia de plagas y enfermedades dentro del cultivo. Las labores culturales serán de gran apoyo al momento tanto de la producción como de un manejo fitosanitario en el invernadero ya que, de ser llevadas a cabo los procesos de poda, deschuponado, deshierbe, entutorado etc., correctamente, no solo proporcionarán a la planta una apropiada distribución de nutrientes al fruto, sino que también le darán las condiciones ambientales propicias para una escasa proliferación de plagas y enfermedades. Las actividades están vinculadas directamente con los módulos vistos a lo largo de la carrera donde se aplicaron metodologías de análisis y prevención para las plagas y enfermedades, así como la evaluación constante para un desarrollo óptimo de la planta para obtener un rendimiento favorable en el cultivo.

The main objective of this social service report was to learn about and participate in the agronomic management activities carried out in the cultivation of tomato under greenhouse conditions at the Biological and Aquaculture Research Center of Cuemanco. The cultivation of tomato under greenhouse conditions has given the option of offering good quality products and plants with a higher yield at any time of the year, however, since it requires a strong investment, factors such as structure, ventilation, water supply, location and regulations to be followed must be considered in order to be successful in its implementation, since if ignored, there may be incidence of pests and diseases within the crop. The cultural tasks will be of great support at the time of both production and phytosanitary management in the greenhouse because, if the processes of pruning, weeding, weeding, trellising, etc., are carried out correctly, they will not only provide the plant with a proper distribution of nutrients, but will also provide the plant with the necessary nutrients for its growth and development. the plant a proper distribution of nutrients to the fruit, but will also provide environmental conditions conducive to a low proliferation of pests and diseases.
