dc.description.abstract | This research report is about adolescence, which is a transitional stage for girls and boys in which different changes occur, from physical, emotional and social changes; Also within this stage there are threats that lead to mental health problems causing an imbalance in the nutritional status of adolescents since they lead them to consume an excess of food or a minimum of their normal requirement. Emotion is a complex phenomenon, capable of affecting the food response throughout the entire ingestion process: the motivation to eat, the affective responses to food, the choice, chewing or the speed with which it is ingested. The confrontation of negative emotions, through food, would be carried out with foods that, it has been shown, act on the neurobiological reward system, causing pleasure in the face of the negative emotion, these being those high in fats, high in sugars and high . in calories. When analyzing the nutritional status of adolescents, it is observed that 230 (84.7%) adolescents have an adequate height, 37 (13.8%) adolescents are at risk of having short stature and 4 (1.5%) have short stature. for age. Likewise, 127 (46.6%) adolescents have an adequate weight, 72 (26.5%) are overweight, 54 (20%) suffer from obesity and 18 (6.8%) have low weight for height. The psychological aspects of adolescents are observed, where 10% and 24.2% of adolescents present depression and anxiety, respectively.
| es_MX |
