The military dictatorship in Chile is one of the most painful chapters of latin american history. That’s why Pedro Lemebel decided to portray on his narrations the raw actions of the regime, bringing the spotlight into the voices that were dramatically silenced by it. In this article we’ll analyze the narrative resources used by the author in it’s chronicles to question the official history while building a counter-story that searches to fight the forgetfulness that the government of Augusto Pinochet betted for. |
