El golpe y sus golpecitos: Voces de la dictadura chilena en la crónica de Pedro Lemebel

Abstract

La dictadura militar chilena es uno de los capítulos más dolorosos de la historia latinoamericana. Por ello el cronista Pedro Lemebel decidió retratar a partir de sus narraciones todas las crudezas del régimen, dándole protagonismo a las voces que fueron violentamente silenciadas por éste. En el presente artículo analizamos los recursos narratológicos que utilizó el autor en sus crónicas para cuestionar la historia oficial y para la construcción de un contra-relato, que busca combatir la desmemoria a la que le apostó el mandato de Augusto Pinochet.

The military dictatorship in Chile is one of the most painful chapters of latin american history. That’s why Pedro Lemebel decided to portray on his narrations the raw actions of the regime, bringing the spotlight into the voices that were dramatically silenced by it. In this article we’ll analyze the narrative resources used by the author in it’s chronicles to question the official history while building a counter-story that searches to fight the forgetfulness that the government of Augusto Pinochet betted for.
