Análisis de la Vegetación de tipo Arbóreo del Bosque de Manglar en la Laguna Grande del Sistema Lagunar Costero de Mandinga, Veracruz

Abstract

This research was carried out in the state of Veracruz, in the municipality of Alvarado, within the town of Mandinga, where a study of the mangroves located in three study plots covering the surroundings of the Laguna Grande was carried out to determine the structure of the species that compose it, their structural parameters such as: height, diameter at breast height (DBH), basal area and density. Likewise, a cluster analysis with the Bray-Curtis index was carried out to determine the similarity of the sites in terms of the composition of the species and their structural parameters. The data obtained in the study were compared with those from studies from past years and government data to observe the changes that the mangrove forest has had over time and, in this way, determine if there have been major changes in the composition of the forest. mangrove species as a consequence of the changes it has suffered as a result of real estate projects in the surroundings of the mangrove forest and the pollution of the lagoon. At the same time, a bibliographic search was carried out on the protection programs that have been carried out in Mandinka by the government and their effectiveness.

Esta investigación se llevó a cabo en el estado de Veracruz, en el municipio del Alvarado, dentro del poblado de Mandinga, donde se llevo a cabo un estudio de los manglares ubicados en tres parcelas de estudio abarcando los alrededores de la laguna grande para determinar la estructura de las especies que lo componen, sus parámetros estructurales como: altura, diámetro a la altura del pecho (DAP), área basal y densidad. De igual forma se llevo a cabo un análisis de clúster con índice de Bray-Curtis para determinar la similitud de los sitios en cuanto a la composición des especies y sus parámetros estructurales. Los datos obtenidos en el estudio fueron comparados con los de estudios de años pasados y datos del gobierno para observar los cambios que ha tenido el bosque de mangle al pasar del tiempo y, de esta forma, determinar si ha habido grandes cambios en la composición de especies de manglar como consecuencia de los cambios que ha sufrido como consecuencia de proyectos inmobiliarios en los alrededores del bosque de mangle y la contaminación de la laguna. Al mismo tiempo se llevo a cabo una búsqueda bibliográfica sobre los programas de protección que se han llevado a cabo en Mandinga por parte del gobierno y su efectividad.
