Abstract: | Resumen En la producción cinematográfica las mujeres desarrollan personajes y narrativas con una visión propia que compete al mundo de la mujer, abordando temáticas que reconozcan los problemas de la sociedad como el envejecimiento y el Alzheimer. Bajo un recorrido histórico se muestran los inicios de la participación femenina dentro de la dirección cinematográfica hasta la actualidad. En esta investigación se realizó un análisis de tres películas del cine mexicano contemporáneo dirigidas por María Novaro, Natalia Beristain y Andrea Martínez, narrando los diferentes puntos de vista sobre la manera de padecer la enfermedad, el papel que juega el cuidador primario, así como la relación entre el enfermo y el cuidador. Abstract In the film production, women devolp characters and narratives with a own vision of the world of woman, approaching topics that recognize the problems of society as ageing and Alzheimer’s. Through a historical route, the beginnings of female participation in film directing up the present day are shown. In this investigation was carried out an analysis of three contemporary mexican films directed by María Novaro, Natalia Beristain and Andrea Martínez, exposing the differents perspectives about the way the disease is suffered, the role of the primary carer as well as the relationship between patient and carer.
