Retos y oportunidades del teletrabajo debido a la pandemia de COVID-19

Abstract

La presente investigación propone que la imposición del teletrabajo ante la pandemia causada por el virus SARS-CoV-2, representa una serie de retos para aquellos trabajadores que tuvieron que adoptar dicha modalidad de trabajo. Sin embargo, desde la perspectiva de los trabajadores; representa además una serie de oportunidades, debido al contexto del confinamiento que se vive a nivel mundial derivado de la expansión de la COVID-19. Con el fin de establecer una visión teórica sobre la concepción del teletrabajo dentro de este contexto temporal, se revisaron las propuestas de Antonio Negri sobre el trabajo inmaterial y la concepción marxista sobre el General Intellect. Se establece también, como característica esencial que el desarrollo del teletrabajo se genera a través del uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación (TIC), con lo cual se logra realizar un filtro de aquellas actividades que, a pesar de desarrollarse de manera remota, no pueden considerarse dentro del concepto de teletrabajo. ----- This research proposes that the imposition of teleworking as a result caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, as something that represents a series of challenges for those workers who had to adopt this modality of work. However, from the workers perspective, it is also representing a series of opportunities, due to the global context derived from the lockdown of the expansion of COVID-19. In order to establish a theoretical vision on the conception of telework within this temporal context, were reviewed Antonio Negris proposals on immaterial labor and the Marxist conception on the General Intellect. It is also established, as an essential characteristic, that the development of teleworking is generated using information and communication technologies (ICT), with which it is possible to filter those activities, that despite being carried out remotely they cannot be considered within the concept of teleworking.
