Exploración del concepto de violencia y sus implicaciones en educación

Abstract

Explanation of the concept of violence and its implications in education. About the concept of violence, it is proposed in the present text, collect some disciplines of social sciences, the approach to certain characteristics of that term, which will help to differentiate the meaning or sense of it, both in the social field as educational spaces in particular, through its manifestation and contemporary approach in different social spheres that coexist with violence in their daily lives. The article ends with some questions that may be suggestive for some routes of inquiry about the approach to the concept of violence in key educational research, beyond the concern marked by the so-called “Bullying” or bullying as the only way of thinking the violence in education.

En torno al concepto de violencia se propone retomar, de algunas disciplinas de las ciencias sociales, determinadas características del referido término, lo que ayudará a diferenciar el sentido o sentidos de la misma, tanto en el terreno social como en los espacios educativos en particular, merced de su manifestación y abordaje en distintos ámbitos sociales contemporáneos que cohabitan con la violencia en su cotidianidad. El artículo finaliza con algunos cuestionamientos que pueden ser sugerentes para algunas rutas de indagación en torno al abordaje del concepto de violencia, en clave de investigación educativa, más allá de la preocupación marcada por el llamado bullying o matoneo como la única posibilidad de pensar la violencia en educación.
