Estados Unidos: Política burocrática, narcotráfico y relaciones con México

Abstract

The United States start their fight against drugs from a complex orgchart of offices, agencies, departments, which often generate function duplicity and a big bureaucracy. Mexico, on the other hand, because of a weakness in its institutions, may not offer the necessary capabilities to reduce or evenly share, the American responsibilities in this task. So, bilateral relations between the United States and Mexico will tend to become even harder.

Estados Unidos emprende su lucha contra el narcotráfico desde un organigrama complejo de oficinas, agencias, departamentos, los cuales generan muchas veces duplicidad de funciones y una aparatosa burocracia. México, por su parte, a causa de la debilidad de sus instituciones, no puede ofrecer la réplica necesaria para disminuir o empatar, cuando menos, el dominio estadounidense en esta tarea. Así, las relaciones bilaterales México-Estados Unidos tenderán aún más a dificultarse.
