Desarrollo Sostenible e inclusión en la perspectiva del sector privado en México

Abstract

El objetivo del presente trabajo es indagar en la relación entre inclusión y desarrollo sostenible bajo la perspectiva del sector privado en México, en el marco de los actuales Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. Para ello se han seleccionado documentos del Grupo de Trabajo Agenda 2030, producto del convenio de colaboración entre Pacto Mundial, CCE y el Gobierno de México en 2019. Se ha empleado revisión documental y análisis guiado por el enfoque de la teoría fundamentada. El principal hallazgo es que las políticas internas, normativas, guías y manuales de buenas prácticas no especifican una definición de lo sostenible, connotando tan sólo dimensiones de RSE. Asimismo, la forma de tratar a la inclusión focaliza de manera casi excluyente en la incorporación laboral.   

The objective of this work is to investigate the relationship between inclusion and sustainable development from the perspective of the private sector in Mexico, within the framework of the current Sustainable Development Goals. To achieve this, documents from the Working Group Agenda 2030 have been selected, a product of the collaboration agreement between the Global Compact, BCC, and the Government of Mexico in 2019. Documentary review and analysis guided by the grounded theory approach have been employed. The main finding is that internal policies, regulations, guidelines, and good practice manuals do not specify a definition of sustainability, only connoting dimensions of CSR. Likewise, the approach to inclusion focuses almost exclusively on labor incorporation.
