dc.description.abstract | For a long time, trans has been reduced to an identity label, leaving aside the divergence of experiences that exist. A single historic and hegemonic truth regarding the sex-gender binarism reduces and absorbs such multiplicity. However, and against that reigning power, that binarism is questioned and confronted, producing new identities and ways to be and live. It’s not only limited to bodily modifications. It’s an implication that forces us to (re)think our own bodies, the limits that exist and have been imposed on us, in what we are and what we could be. It’s an alternate way to go through life, that makes us question how the experiences of trans people in Mexico City reflect the heterogeneity of their experiences, as well as the cultural and social context where we live in | en |
| es_MX |
