Crisis y pandemia. Una mirada desde el capitalismo fragmentario y los sistemas vitales

Abstract

The article proposes an insight into the crisis and its contradictions as one of the strategic axes of fragmentary capitalism, emphasizing its spatial forms, specifically the spatial fixes and the spatial deployment of infrastructural power. With this theoretical and methodological basis, the authors analyze the vital systems and global supply chains in the face of pandemic risk from covid-19 on a global scale, which allows them to argue about the links between crisis, development, and fragmentation.

El artículo propone una mirada de la crisis y sus contradicciones como uno de los ejes estratégicos del capitalismo fragmentario, haciendo énfasis en sus formas espaciales, en específico de los spatial fixes y del despliegue espacial del poder infraestructural. Con esta base teórica y metodológica se analizan los sistemas vitales y las cadenas globales de aprovisionamiento frente al riesgo pandémico por covid-19 a escala mundial, lo cual nos permite argumentar sobre los vínculos entre crisis, desarrollo y fragmentación.
