Abstract

This article examines the gender identity and ethnicity expressions present in two works of the poet. Based on information from the author and its context, as well as the analysis of her poetry through the hermeneutic model, her position as a Tseltal woman and the intercultural form she promotes to relate to other collectivities were evidenced. It poses an alternative way of existing in a world traversed by neoliberalism. It also evidences the voices, struggles and resistance of the women of her community, highlighting the values she intends to preserve or transform from her own culture.

En este artículo se examinan las expresiones identitarias de género y etnicidad presentes en dos obras de la poeta. A partir de información de la autora y su contexto, así como el análisis de su lírica por medio del modelo hermenéutico y entrevistas a la autora, se evidenció su posición como mujer tseltal y la forma intercultural que promueve para relacionarse con otras colectividades. Plantea un modo alternativo de existir en un mundo atravesado por el neoliberalismo. Asimismo, evidencia las voces, luchas y resistencias de las mujeres de su comunidad, destacando los valores que pretende preservar o transformar de su propia cultura.
