Estado y mercado en la crisis financiera del capitalismo. Notas sobre Marx y Keynes

Abstract

Sostengo que la crisis financiera hipotecaria de 2007 y la reciente crisis europea de deuda soberana en 2010, hacen evidente –hoy más que nunca– la vigencia y relevancia de las principales categorías analíticas que Marx y Keynes emplearon para pensar a fondo las verdaderas causas que se hallan en la raíz de esta clase de desequilibrios. Me propongo mostrar la utilidad de pensar la actual problemática financiera a partir de las coordenadas que hemos heredado de estos autores, coordenadas que distan mucho de haber sido superadas.

I argue that the 2007 mortgage crisis and the recent sovereign debt crisis in Europe in 2010, makes it more obvious than ever the validity and relevance of the main analytical categories that Marx and Keynes used to think through the real causes that lie at the root of both imbalances. I intend to show the usefulness of thinking about the current financial problems upon the coordinates we have inherited from these authors, coordinates that are far from having been overtaken.
