El Estado y la globalización ante la nueva crisis internacional

Abstract

El siguiente ensayo trata sobre la globalización y sus implicaciones en el Estado, ante la nueva crisis internacional, por lo que se analiza la gran dicotomía entre el mercado y el Estado y la forma en que estos dos entes, al parecer irreconciliables, se han comportado en los últimos años. En la parte final se piensa sobre la nueva configuración del orden internacional ante el mismo proceso de globalización. El texto no desconoce el papel del Estado-nación en el orden internacional, pero sí plantea cuáles son los retos ante la mencionada globalización.

The following essay discusses globalization and its implications on the State facing the new international crisis, that is why it discusses the great dichotomy between the market and the State and how these two entities, apparently irreconcilable, have behaved in the past years. In final part is analyzed the new configuration of the international order facing the globalization process. The text does not ignore the role of the nation state in the international order, but explains what the challenges are posed to globalization.
