Constitución de sentidos instituyentes en la universidad colombiana del siglo XXI: El caso del movimiento estudiantil

Abstract

En este artículo se discute el papel del movimiento estudiantil universitario colombiano entre 2011 y 2018 en cuanto a sus maneras de constituir subjetividad política y lograr hege­monía discursiva mediante prácticas de resistencia asociadas a lo imaginario, a la memoria y a la identidad. Se muestran las formas de participación política estudiantil o sus prácticas de resistencia en momentos de latencia (o vida cotidiana universitaria cuando no hay paro), así como en momentos contenciosos (aquellos cuando hay confrontación o paro, específica­mente, paro nacional). En términos de subjetividad política, el movimiento estudiantil uni­versitario ha generado optimismo y esperanza en el movimiento social, nuevos repertorios de acción con los que se instalan unos valores y unos sentidos que seguramente en el futuro serán reemplazados por otros nuevos sentidos.

This article discusses the role of the Colombian university student movement between 2011 and 2018 in terms of its ways of constituting political subjectivity and achieving discur­sive hegemony through resistance practices associated with the social imaginary, memory and identity. The forms of student political participation or their practices of resistance are shown in moments of latency (or daily university life when there is no strike), as well as in contentious moments (those when there is confrontation or strike, specifically, national strike). In terms of political subjectivity, the university student movement has generated optimism and hope in the social movement, new repertoires of action with which values and meanings are installed, but they will surely be replaced in the future by other new meanings.
