Language is one of the instruments of Social Sciences. In this article, we talk about one of the sources, the books. Over one land, Latin America, at 19th century, there are important books of the social disciplines: in America, what are the ways of the book trade? Where the books are edited? What was their language? El lenguaje es una de las herramientas de las ciencias sociales. Este artículo reflexiona acerca de una de las fuentes, las ediciones. Sobre un territorio, América Latina, ¿Qué autores se expresaron en tiempos originarios de algunas de sus diversas disciplinas? ¿Cómo circularon los libros en el continente americano? ¿Dónde se produjeron? ¿En qué lengua?
