El Recurso de la Intertextualidad en el Cine Animado Mexicano

Abstract

In this research we will examine the intertextual study of two animated short films from contemporary Mexican authors. By exploring the use of intertextual elements in their pieces we will understand the dialog established between the film and other cultural contexts. Another objective is to find out the characteristics of a piece, to know if we can define it as author cinema- in which case we will analyze the aspects related to its creation and the authors involved in the study. Aspects like the techniques applied, the position of the Mexican animated industry, the most important studies currently done in animation, the main directors in the industry, as well as the subjects that commonly employed in this type of films for the plot making.

En la presente investigación se realizará el estudio intertextual de dos cortometrajes animados de autores mexicanos contemporáneos. Explorando el uso de elementos intertextuales en sus obras para conocer el dialogo que se establece entre el filme con otros discursos culturales. Otro objetivo es descubrir las características de su obra y si en el caso se les pueda definir como cine de autor para ello se investigará los factores que intervienen en la creación de las obras de los autores por estudiar. Factores como la técnicas que se emplean, la position de la industria cinematográfica animada en México, los estudios actuales mas importantes de animación, los principales directores de animación, así como los temas que se recurren en este tipo de películas para narrar sus historias.
