Reconocimiento y registro de plantas arvenses con valor benéfico presentes en la parcela demostrativa en el predio las Ánimas, Tulyehualco, Xochimilco, CDMX

Abstract

Those plants that grow within an agricultural crop are called weeds, these are plants that are considered undesirable for farmers. In this social service work, the recognition and registration of those weeds that grew within the multi-cultivated demonstration plot was made, this was established on the Ánimas property, Tulyehualco, establishing itself with seed that was donated by CDMX producers, giving it constant maintenance with agroecological practices, this in order to damage as little as possible the natural resources of the place. The maintenance activities that were carried out within the plot were: Planting, monitoring of crop development, installation of a drip irrigation system, irrigation, fertilization with chicken manure, avocado biol and worm leaching, weeding, furrow closing, pest monitoring and harvest. In order to identify the weeds and prevent them from competing with the crops, they were being identified at the same time that weeding was being carried out and as these plants were being identified, various visits were made to producers, this in order to obtain direct information on the use that they gave them. they give, among them medicinal, nutritional and even agricultural. The importance of this work was to highlight the various uses that these have, the value that they still give to these plants and the conservation of diversity since, according to some producers, this diversity of weed plants has been lost over time, like the knowledge of the uses that many of these have, for which it is important to know their uses and benefits so that the next generations can continue enjoying them.

Aquellas plantas que crecen dentro de un cultivo agrícola se denominan plantas arvenses, estas son plantas que se consideran indeseables para los agricultores. En este trabajo de servicio social se hizo el reconocimiento y registro de aquellas plantas arvenses que crecieron dentro de la parcela demostrativa poli-cultivada, esta se estableció en el predio las Ánimas, Tulyehualco, estableciéndose con semilla que fue donada por productores de la CDMX, dándole mantenimiento constante con prácticas agroecológicas, esto con la finalidad de dañar lo menor posible los recursos naturales del lugar. Las actividades de manteamiento que se realizaron dentro de la parcela fueron: Siembra, monitoreo del desarrollo de los cultivos, instalación de sistema de riego por goteo, riego, fertilización con gallinaza, biol de aguacate y lixiviado de lombriz, deshierbe, cerrado de los surcos, monitoreo de plagas y cosecha. Para identificar las plantas arvenses y evitar que estas compitieran con los cultivos se iban identificando al mismo tiempo que se iba deshierbando y conforme estas plantas se fueron identificando se hizo diversas visitas a productores, esto con el fin de obtener información directa del uso que ellos les dan, entro ellos medicinales, alimenticios y hasta agrícolas. La importancia de este trabajo fue destacar los diversos usos que estas tiene, el valor que aún les dan a estas plantas y la conservación de la diversidad ya que de acuerdo a algunos productores esta diversidad de plantas arvenses con el tiempo se ha ido perdiendo, al igual que el conocimiento de los usos que muchas de estas tienen, por lo cual es importante conocer sus usos y beneficios para que las próximas generaciones puedan seguir disfrutando de estas.
