Abstract

The progressive social frustration of the lower middle class during the second half of the mexican twentieth century, documented in a unique story: La familia Burrón, whose protagonists are moving from playing traditional roles and change it for survival strategies by which the wife becomes leader of the neighborhood in a social gender rebellion that makes “Borola Tacuche” an icon of feminism.

La progresiva frustración social de la clase media baja durante la segunda mitad del siglo XX mexicano documentada en una historieta excepcional: La familia Burrón, cuyos protagonistas transitan de desempeñar los roles tradicionales a una inversión de estrategias de sobrevivencia por la que la esposa deviene lideresa del vecindario en una rebeldía social con perspectiva de género que hace de Borola Tacuche un ícono del feminismo.
