Las masculinidades en la música cristiana

Abstract

Este artículo muestra las formas como se entienden las masculinades en la musica “cristiana evengélica” mexicana. Se consideran: 1) el concepto de género aplicado a Dios y Jesucristo, 2) el modelo de masculinidad que debe tener el creyente. Se hace una comparación con la canción popular mexicana, para despues anotar algunas consecuencias sociales de estas concepciones para los miembros o fieles.

Masculinities in Mexican Christian Music. This article shows the forms by which masculinities are understood in mexican “christian evangelical” music. The following subjects are considered: 1) the concepto of gender applied to God and Jesus, 2) the models of masculinity that the believer should have. There is a comparasion with the mexican popular song, to afterward show some of the social consequences of these concepts for members and followers
