Abstract

En este texto se exponen y analizan los elementos que configuran el ámbito de la política desde el punto de vista de Hannah Arendt, importante historiadora y filósofa del siglo veinte; asimismo se muestra cómo esta perspectiva se enfrenta a la complejidad de los fenómenos de la modernidad. En este sentido el pensamiento arendtiano es revalorizado al reflexionar si todavía es posible hacer política ante escenarios sociales y culturales contemporáneos.

In this text the elements that constitute the field of politics according Hannah Arendt, important historian and philosopher of the twentieth century, are presented and analyzed. It is also shown how this perspective confronts the complexity of the phenomenon of modernity. In this study Arendt’s thought is revalidated when questioning if political action is yet possible in social and cultural contemporary scenarios.
