Nuevos lenguajes en las recientes telenovelas latinoamericanas

Abstract

In this article the author describes the transformations in the recent Latin American soap operas: the disruption of gender rules and the mixtures with other television gender; the concern with new social problems and the presentation of new characters. It also points out the presence and importance of Latin American soap operas in the European television market and its implications.

A través de este artículo la autora describe las transformaciones que han sufrido las recientes telenovelas latinoamericanas: la ruptura de las reglas del género y mezclas con otros géneros televisivos; el tratamiento de nuevas problemáticas sociales e incorporación de nuevos personajes. Además, señala la expansión de las telenovelas latinoamericanas en el mercado televisivo europeo y lo que esto representa.
