Abstract

El artículo propone una reflexión acerca de las modalidades de formalización artística de la modernidad latinoamericana, periférica, tardía e inconclusa, a partir de la crisis manifiesta de episteme que elabora la filosofía posmoderna. Centra el análisis en la poética narrativa de unas cuantas obras claves (siglos XIX y XX), poniendo de relieve la heterogeneidad del imaginario y social movilizado, las formas de figuración de las relaciones entre el tiempo y el espacio, y las de configuraci6n de los sujetos, sean estos sujetos de los procesos narrados o de los procesos de la enunciación novelesca. Muestra de que manera estas formas de configuración descansan en un dialogo conflictivo con las nociones de tiempo, sujeto y conocimiento provenientes de la racionalidad occidental y la ilustración, confrontando los textos hispanoamericanos con las concepciones que del género novelesco elaboraron Hegel, Lukacs y Goldmann por un lado, y Mijail Bajtin por otro.

The article proposes a reflexion about the strategies of artistic formalization of Latinamerican modernism, which is marginal, late and unfinished. This reflexion takes the stand of postmodern epistemology. It is entered around a few novels of the XIXth and XXth centuries, and shows the heterogeneous nature of the social imaginary, as well as the forms of figuration of the relation between time and space, and those configuration of the subjects, be it the subject of the stories or the subject of literary enunciation. It shows how this forms of figuration lie on a conflictive dialogue between the notions of time, subject, and knowledge inherited from the Western reason and Illustration, and confronting the Spanish American texts with the theories of the novel as they his- where developed by Hegel, Lukacs, and Goldmann, and by Mikhail Bakhtin.
