Continuidades y rupturas de Pierre Bourdieu

Abstract

En el presente artículo exponemos las ideas clave de Pierre Bourdieu, acerca de la lógica de funcionamiento de la sociedad, así como los puntos de continuidad y de ruptura en relación con algunos autores de la sociología, fundamentalmente de Durkheim, Weber y Marx. Bourdieu moviliza los conceptos centrales en diversos campos, principalmente para describir y explicar las lógicas de funcionamiento de la sociedad y lo hace integrando continuidades y rupturas de tal forma que construye una arquitectura original y vigente en la actualidad.

In the present article we present the key ideas of Pierre Bourdieu concerning the logic of the functioning of society, as well as the points of continuity and of rupture in relation to several other important sociological theorists, particularly of Durkheim, Weber and Marx. Bourdieu operationalizes his central concepts in various fields, principally in order to describe and explain the logic of social functioning, and he does so integrating continuities and ruptures in such a manner that he constructs an original architecture that continues valid up to the present.
