Hacer memorias es hacer experiencia de lo vivido

Abstract

This study is based in the analysis of some of Walter Benjamin’s essays in order to clear out the concept of experience and bring to the front that, in all of his philosofical reflections, the concept of experience not only is registered by the language, but also has another dimention that slides through it, and does not end there. The experience not only is understood as the translation between what is lived and what is comunicated in the act of memory. It’s intransmisible dimention is closer to the notion of life, as a creation engine that produces never ending meanings of a singular experiences.

En este artículo se explora la noción de experiencia en algunos ensayos de Walter Benjamin, con el fin de desprender del análisis sobre su articulación con el lenguaje, un concepto más complejo, resaltando que en su desarrollo filosófico, la experiencia no sólo se inscribe en el lenguaje, sino que tiene una dimensión que se desliza en el lenguaje, pero no se agota en él. La experiencia no sólo es entendida como la traducción entre lo vivido y lo comunicable en el acto de hacer memoria. Su dimensión intransmisible se acerca a la noción de vida, como base de la creación nunca acabada del sentido de la experiencia singular.
