Dialéctica de la experiencia histórica

Abstract

Experience is the knowledge of the singular which includes the sensory way experience the world. Sometimes the artistic experience gets to (re)found collective subjectivity. Today media speeches present different forms of knowledge, fictional and realistic, that appeal to the emotions of their receptors. This article discusses some press photographs that synthesize what Walter Benjamin could recognize as dialectical images because they pose the urgent question about the sense of the disasters that humanity is witnessing everywhere. Part of the answer is that the redemption will happen, one way or another, through the media.

La experiencia es el saber de lo singular que incluye el modo sensorial de vivir el mundo. El arte consigue a veces (re)fundar la subjetividad colectiva. Los discursos mediáticos presentan distintas formas de conocimiento, ficticias y verdaderas, que apelan a la emotividad de sus destinatarios. En este artículo se analizan algunas fotografías de prensa que sintetizan lo que Walter Benjamin reconocería como imágenes dialécticas porque plantean la pregunta urgente sobre el sentido de las catástrofes que la Humanidad ha presenciado siempre, pero ahora con la mediación de las nuevas tecnologías, las cuales usa también la prensa comprometida tradicional.
