La cultura como articuladora de los lazos sociales

Abstract

In this text we try to present the symbolic dimension of the culture as that one capable of propitiating social cohesion. We think that the culture operates like joint of the forms of social links, that is to say, facilitating the links and the network of exchanges between persons yet in unfavorable circumstances. We analyze the case of the European Club in City of Buenos Aires with the intention of detailing an experience that exists in spite of the crisis that devastated the Argentina postconvertibility 2001 . It is an invention made in Buenos Aires, a form destined for the meeting with the others, that is to say, a space like housing. It is a configuration that was created not only to enjoy the daily life but also the intention of sheltering the differences and of strengthening the social links in a context sociohistoric in crisis.

En este texto situamos la dimensión simbólica de la cultura como aquella capaz de propiciar cohesión social. Consideramos que la cultura opera como articuladora de las formas de lazo social, es decir, facilitando los vínculos y la trama de intercambios entre sujetos aun en circunstancias desfavorables. Analizamos el caso del Club Europeo en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires con el propósito de detallar una experiencia que existe a pesar de la crisis que arrasó a la Argentina postconvertibilidad 2001. Se trata de un invento made in Buenos Aires, una forma destinada al encuentro con otros, es decir, un espacio como morada para lo extranjero. Una configuración que se creó no sólo para disfrutar de la vida cotidiana sino también a los fines de albergar las diferencias y dinamizar los lazos sociales en un contexto sociohistórico en crisis.
