Abstract

This paper, through the analysis of a national organization of internal indigenous immigrant Asamblea de Migrantes Indígenas will try to go beyond the usual analysis of the migration process to include the subjective levels. The immigrant always faces a forced break-up with the most basic intimate levels of his life. He faces a sort of death of the self, and an uprooting and profound suffering in as much as he (she) has to change the world view around which he (she) has built his inner world. He will try to survive the rupture of his world with the construction and reconstruction of his history, between the here in which he is now and the there from his past; and the remembrance of his loved original land.

A partir del análisis de la organización nacional Asamblea de Migrantes Indígenas, este trabajo pretende pasar más allá del análisis usual del proceso de migración para incluir los niveles subjetivos. El migrante siempre se obliga a vivir una ruptura forzada de los niveles más íntimos y básicos de su vida. Se obliga a vivir una especie de muerte de sí mismo, y un sufrimiento desarraigante y profundo en cuanto tiene que cambiar el mundo interior que ha construido. El migrante intentará sobrevivir la ruptura de este mundo interior por medio de la construcción y reconstrucción de su historia, entre el aquí, en donde está ahora, el allí de su pasado, y la memoria de su tierra original bien amada.
