Nuevas tecnologías reproductivas y enigmas del padre

Abstract

Scientific Knowledge has failed to elucidate the enigma of paternity, which –on the other hand– is rendered more complex with the unquestionable advent of new forms of procreation. The enigmas surrounding the father are still valid and the newly-acquired technoscientific knowledge has shed very little light on the matter. Thus, although DNA can be traced, the side of the name –the naming side– will remain obscure.

El saber científico no puede despejar el enigma de la paternidad, el cual, al contrario, se complejiza ante el avance indiscutible de nuevas formas de procreación. Los enigmas en torno al padre siguen vigentes, y no son despejables por los nuevos saberes de las tecnociencias, aunque pueda rastrearse el ácido desoxirribonucleico (ADN), del lado del nombre, del lado nominante ha de permanecer una incógnita.
