La educación superior

Abstract

Taking as a point of departure a brief reflection on an institutional event experienced in Mexico in those official institutions of postgraduate studies, this text aims to develop a reflection on the task and role of the University in the contemporary political context. The reflection focus its attention in the contemporary transformation of the patterns of knowledge development and administration, the educative and research institutions and processes, in the political frames set by the new patterns of control and political administration in the political world context. The text stresses the relevance of the ethical nature of the institutional operation of the University and its effect upon the creation of knowledge.

Este texto busca, a partir de un acontecimiento institucional experimentado en México por las instituciones de educación superior, desarrollar una reflexión en torno de las tareas de la Universidad en el contexto político contemporáneo de México, situándolo en el marco de la transformación contemporánea de los saberes, los procesos y las instituciones educativos y de investigación, a partir de nuevas pautas de control y de gestión político contemporáneo. El texto pone un énfasis particular en la relevancia de la naturaleza ética del desempeño institucional de la Universidad y su incidencia sobre la creación de conocimiento.
