Después del holocausto nuclear. Reflexiones acerca del cine antiutópico

Abstract

In this essay the author makes her observations on the role that the threat of nuclear holocaust has played in forming an antiutopian movie discourse. Through the analysis of seven movies she also stresses the contribution of these movies to the collapse of utopians and to the development of raw conscience about human temporality

En este ensayo la autora reflexiona sobre el papel que ha jugado la amenaza del holocausto nuclear en la configuración del discurso cinematográfico antiutópico. Así mismo, por medio del análisis de siete películas, destaca la contribución de dicho cine al derrumbe de las utopías y al desarrollo de una conciencia cruda sobre la finitud humana.
