Abstract

This paper is the result of a research conducted between january, 1995 and august 1996 with male and female workers that had lesions caused by repetitive effort. The impact of the illness on their everyday lives was explored. The main goals were to contribute to highlighting the disease, make deals with the workplaces to modify their working conditions and to understand the consequences of the illness in society/enterprises and household/domestic labor relationships

Este trabajo es resultado de una investigación realizada entre enero de 1995 y agosto de 1996 con trabajadoras y trabajadores que presentaban Lesiones por Esfuerzo Repetitivo (LER). Su impacto en la vida cotidiana fue explorado con el fin de contribuir a dar visibilidad a dicho padecimiento, llegar a acuerdos con las empresas para modificar las condiciones de trabajo y comprender las consecuencias de esta patología en las relaciones sociedad/empresa y casa/trabajo doméstico
