El anarquismo argentino y la Gran Guerra

Abstract

El estallido de la Primera Guerra Mundial provocó en el anarquismo un profundo e intenso debate que no se circunscribió a sus secciones europeas, ni a la publicación del pro-Entente Manifiesto de los Dieciséis de Kropotkin, Malato y Grave, sino que comenzó apenas iniciada la guerra y se expandió por todo el mundo. En Argentina, el anarquismo se encontraba muy dañado como consecuencia de la represión del Centenario, y los debates que se produjeron por la contienda agudizaron los problemas. Cómo interpretar la guerra y qué papel debía cumplir la minoría revolucionaria, eran las cuestiones que animaron el debate.

In Argentina, anarchism was badly damaged as a result of the repression of the Centenary, and discussions that were produced by the war, exacerbated the problems. So the issues that impelled the debate were how to interpret the war and what role should the revolutionary minority have.
