¿ La región más inestable del mundo? Sierra Leona y su impacto regional

Abstract

La inestabilidad política ha sido una constante en el caso sierraleonés. Pues no sólo es causa de la profunda crisis en las estructuras del poder interno sino que es el reflejo de una realidad más compleja, en la que se entrelazan las contradicciones entre grupos étnicos, intereses militares y grupos rebeldes de oposición interna; producto, todos ellos, de las condiciones sociales y políticas preestablecidas y acentuadas durante la época colonial.

The political instability has been a constant in the sierraleones case. It has been not only a cause of the deep crisis in the internal power structures, but the reflect of a more complex reality, in which the ethnic groups contradictions are interweaved with military interests and rebel groups of the internal opposition; output, all of them, of the social and political preestablished and highlighted conditions during the colonial time.
