The text draws out the relationship between rhetoric and visual communication, in accordance with Aristotelian thought, in order to establish the concept of Design as a mature art, capable of solving argumentational issues when faced with given circumstances or audiences. The rhetorical model is employed to show the designer best suited reasons which help him to find the convictions of his audience and to load with his argumentative propositions into an artistic vehicle. |
