Saberes ancestrales y gestión comunitaria del agua frente a su apropiación y la imposición de megaproyectos en el estado de Puebla

Abstract

The article addresses the defense of water from an ethnographic perspective, highlighting the ancestral relationship that peoples have with the vital liquid, expressed especially in the water-hill binomial. From the community of Atla, in the municipality of Pahuatlán, the struggle of the Nahuas is presented against the pretense of imposing a price on it; Also in the western part of the Sierra Norte, the care of the springs in front of the Tuxpan-Tula gas pipeline by the Regional Council of Indigenous Peoples in Defense of the Territory of Puebla and Hidalgo will be noted. From the Puebla Valley and the Volcanoes area, by another gas pipeline integrated to the Morelos Comprehensive Project, the resistance undertaken by the Front of Peoples in Defense of Land and Water and the struggle for the Metlapanapa River will be shown.

El artículo aborda, desde una perspectiva etnográfica, la defensa del agua destacando la relación ancestral que los pueblos mantienen con el líquido vital, expresada especialmente en el binomio agua-cerro. De la comunidad de Atla, del municipio de Pahuatlán, se presenta la lucha de los nahuas ante la pretensión de imponerle un precio; también de la parte occidental de la Sierra Norte se advertirá el cuidado de los manantiales ante el gasoducto Tuxpan-Tula por parte del Consejo Regional de los Pueblos Originarios en Defensa del Territorio de Puebla e Hidalgo. Del Valle de Puebla y de la zona de los Volcanes, por otro gasoducto integrado al Proyecto Integral Morelos, se mostrará la resistencia emprendida por el Frente de Pueblos en Defensa de la Tierra y el Agua y la lucha por el Río Metlapanapa.
