Producción subjetiva de la vulnerabilidad en torno a las inundaciones en la ciudad de Paysandú, Uruguay.

Abstract

In the past 10 years flood phenomenon has increased in Uruguay, this has brought economical and social consecuences to afected communities. There are needed more skills on investigation and psicosocial guideness. The aim of the research described in this article was to understand the subjetive production of vulnerability of a community afected by floods. The research took place in Curupí, a neighbourhood of Paysandú. From a cualitative and participative aproach, in-depth interviews, research workshops and participation in community activities were conducted. It was observed that subjetive production related to floods articulates material, affective and political-institutional elements.

En los últimos diez años en Uruguay se intensificó el fenómeno de las inundaciones, lo cual trajo aparejado distintos impactos económicos y sociales en las comunidades afectadas. Esto exigió profundizar la investigación y acompañamiento psicosocial en el tema. En este trabajo se relata una investigación que buscó conocer la producción subjetiva de la vulnerabilidad de una comunidad afectada por la inundación. Desde un enfoque cualitativo y participativo de investigación se trabajó en el barrio Curupí, Paysandú. Se realizaron entrevistas en profundidad, talleres de investigación y se participó en actividades comunitarias. A partir del trabajo fue posible observar que la producción subjetiva en torno a la inundación articula elementos materiales, afectivos y político-institucionales.
