Cuarta transformación, medios de comunicación e iglesias

Abstract

After the resounding electoral victory achieved by the "Together We Will Make History" coalition in 2018, the new governance project established by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and by the Morena political front, opted for a profound structural change that would give rise to the Self-styled Fourth Historical Transformation of the country. One of the most important changes made was the modification of the traditional relationship that the Mexican State maintained since the 19th century with the clerical sectors, by separating the existing relationship between the State and the church. Through this, the government gave new concessions of electronic media to the evangelical congregations, modifying the heart of the secularism of the nation-state and the historical pact between the state and the church, causing very serious consequences for democracy, politics, culture, education and the stability of the Republic.

Después de rotunda victoria electoral alcanzada por la coalición “Juntos Haremos Historia” en 2018, el nuevo proyecto de gobernabilidad instaurado por el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador y por el frente político de Morena, apostó por realizar un profundo cambio estructural que diera origen a la autodenominada Cuarta Transformación histórica del país. Una de las mudanzas más importantes realizadas fue la modificación de la relación tradicional que mantuvo el Estado mexicano desde el siglo XIX con los sectores clericales, al separar la relación existente entre el Estado y la iglesia. Mediante ello, el gobierno entregó nuevas concesiones de medios de comunicación electrónicos a las congregaciones evangélicas, modificando el corazón de la laicidad del Estado nación y del pacto histórico existente entre Estado e iglesia, provocando consecuencias muy graves para la democracia, la política, la cultura, la educación y la estabilidad de la República.
