Description: Recent urban designs show an interest on the instrumentality of design itself rather than on its formal aspects, designing connective fabrics that organize objects, spaces, processes and events. They are activated urban surfaces that link together diverse elements and are capable of modelling environments to situations of mobility, density, congestion and instability, organise relationships and activities attached to them as agents and sediments capable of incorporate new forms of social and communal life.
Proyectos urbanos recientes advierten un interés por la instrumentalidad del diseño más que por aspectos formales, diseñando tejidos conectivos que organizan objetos, espacios, procesos y eventos. Superficies urbanas activadas que traban elementos dispares y moldean entornos a fenómenos de movilidad, densidad, congestión e inestabilidad, organizan relaciones y actividades depositadas en ellas como agentes y sedimento capaces de incorporar nuevas formas de vida social y comunitaria.
